Had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The location was excellent, making it very convenient to explore the surroundings. The homemade food was definitely the highlight—fresh, delicious, and made with so much warmth and care. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel completely at home. A Lovely Stay Close to Nature We stayed at Sparrow Nest Homestay from 10th to 12th August 2026 for two nights, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The homestay has a beautiful forest-facing location, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped with all the necessary amenities. One of the highlights of our stay was the home-cooked food. Everything was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious—simple, authentic, and full of flavour. The location is also very convenient. Nainital is around a 2-hour drive away, while Girija Temple is approximately 30 minutes away, making Sparrow Nest a great base for exploring the area while still enjoying a quiet retreat away from the crowds. A special thanks to Mr. Ramesh and Ms. Asha for their warm hospitality and cordial behaviour. Their personal attention made our stay even more comfortable and memorable. Overall, Sparrow Nest Homestay is highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable and homely stay amidst nature. We would be happy to visit again.

Homely atmosphere and home cooked food was very delicious. n Evening with Ramesh ji who conducts safaris too was interesting listening to the tiger stories. He is a treasure trove of stories. Both Ramesh ji and his wife are perfect hosts.

Host Ramesh is also a certified nature guide with the Corbett tiger reserve, check if you can do your tours with him! Excellent if you're coming for safaris, wildlife, the peaceful and quiet atmosphere outside Indias towns and cities. (For party or swimming pools etc. this is NOT your type of place.)

we had a great stay with Ramesh and Asha ji. beautiful location and views. green surroundings with lots of birds around. kosi river is close by for good walks. hosts are very friendly, asha ji cooks great food if you wish to have home food. Ramesh ji knows corbett in n out and a treasure trove of knowledge about the jungle and it's inhabitants. we were lucky to have seen a tiger and lot of exotic birds on a safari with him. Absolutely a delightful stay.

Another fabulous stay with Ramesh, Asha and family. As always they did everything to make my stay as good as it could possibly be, including extra trips into the jungle and wildlife walks. Both Ramesh and Asha are excellent cooks and they take a pride in using local produce, much from their own garden, to prepare authentic Kumaoni cuisine. All the arrangements ran smoothly and Ramesh is a highly regarded local forest guide who puts his clients in a position where they can observe the animals rather than the other way round! I have been coming to this part of India for 17 years and will continue to do so and will continue to stay at Sparrow Nest, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

We booked the stay for 2 nights we were 9 of us ....right from the first interaction with Ramesh ji over the phone where he was so easy to interact about the information we booked our safaris and stayed for 2 nights .The rooms were clean .Ashaji was welcoming ..the food was extremely tasty she accommodated our demands ....our experience was superb within the wilderness and the beautiful garden perfectly maintained.... This was our first experience at corbett ....the safari experiences was superb....we explored Jhirana and Dhela area....the information passed on during the safari was so interesting .I'm sure we will come back here when we come back to corbett next time.

we are running a authentic home stay, where host live with there family .we love to serve homely cooked meal to our clients. which is almost organic. all rooms got jungle view facing ,in front your room sal forest. also we got garden where we grow some vegetables for our use. i am a ward wining guide in jim corbett park so we love to follow jungle policy. mean no party no late night check in .
mountain Drive.it is 04 hours journey through beautiful forest ride,where chance to see some animals are doing road crossing and garzing.also this journey will through beautiful saal forest.we will also have chance to see himalyanyan peak,Trishul and nanadadevi but it will depend on weather condition.
